Apple blocks vibe coding apps from pushing App Store updates

Apple has quietly begun rejecting App Store updates from applications built using AI code generation tools, 9to5Mac reported. Developers said previously approved apps now fail review when updates are generated primarily by AI assistants. Apple is flagging apps that appear generated by tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot, citing quality and consistency concerns. The crackdown comes as AI-generated applications have flooded the App Store with minimal human oversight.
