Humain targets 1.7 GW of data centre capacity in 2027

Humain targets 1.7 GW of data centre capacity in 2027 Image: Primary
Humain is targeting 1.7 GW of data centre capacity in 2027, CEO Tareq Amin told EnterpriseAM, expanding beyond last month's description of a 250 MW build scalable to 1 GW. The initial 250 MW remains due online by the end of this year. Amin said a domestic data centre fund seeking an initial USD 2.5 bn is undergoing regulatory approval. BSF Capital manages its debt-and-equity structure. Humain intends to secure customer contracts and use them to attract debt and outside investment, reducing reliance on shareholder capital. Amin said Humain has signed up xAI, Amazon Web Services and several open-weight model companies. He also said the company will not build ahead of demand.
