Tokio Marine HCC International and Adrian Flux have announced household insurance for domestic humanoid robots in the United Kingdom. The policy is available through Adrian Flux's home-insurance product and is underwritten by Tokio Marine HCC International, according to the company.

Coverage includes robot damage and theft, sudden damage to homes or belongings, and personal liability for injuries or property damage. Emergency recovery and safe disablement after an unforeseen malfunction are also covered. The company expects domestic robots to enter UK homes from 2027.
