# Vercel adds agent screening before alerts reach paging systems

Vercel says its Agent can now investigate monitor alerts before they reach a paging system. When validation is enabled for a webhook destination, only alerts the Agent classifies as Critical are forwarded. The Agent checks logs and metrics to assess impact, and teams can add context to guide its investigation.

The feature is available on Pro and Enterprise plans with Observability Plus. That subscription includes 10 Agent investigations per billing cycle, with additional investigations billed separately. Custom monitors cost $0.0035 per GB of data scanned; built-in alerts remain included with Observability Plus.
