Apple opens Houston advanced-manufacturing training center
Image: Primary Apple has opened an Advanced Manufacturing Center in Houston offering free training and educational sessions for small and medium-sized businesses.
The 20,000-square-foot center is in the same facility that builds and ships Apple's advanced AI servers, and Apple said Mac mini manufacturing will begin there this year. The company said its experts will teach production processes through classroom sessions and workshops using representative factory equipment.
Apple described the site as its second U.S. manufacturing learning location and said it plans to extend hands-on training to local college students.
