Jepsen finds 96 issues across tested ParticleDB versions

Jepsen found 96 issues while testing ParticleDB versions 1.1.4 through 1.1.18.11.rc-22, including crashes, deadlocks and incorrect query results. All but three occurred in healthy, single-node instances. Orkes commissioned the testing as it prepared a broader release of the database, which combines SQL, vector search and other workloads. Tests found that some queries ignored filtering conditions and that as few as two concurrent transactions could deadlock a server. Later builds resolved several documented problems, including frequent deadlocks and prepared-statement failures. The assessment covered only single-node behavior because the supplied builds did not support replication.
