# AWS Transform enters FedRAMP Class C scope in Ohio

AWS said its Transform migration and modernization service is now in scope for FedRAMP Class C, formerly the Moderate baseline, in the US East (Ohio) Region. The company said customers can use Transform to build applications and run workloads subject to Class C compliance requirements. FedRAMP provides a government-wide approach to security assessment, authorization and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services.
