GitLab opens beta dashboard for auditing coding agents

GitLab opens beta dashboard for auditing coding agents Image: Primary
GitLab introduced a beta AI Governance Dashboard for Premium and Ultimate customers that brings its own coding agents and connected external agents into one audit view. It links agent activity to developers and projects, showing sessions, tools and usage trends across a top-level group. GitLab says users can inspect Duo Agent Platform sessions for prompts, model choices, tool calls and MCP servers, download immutable session evidence, or stream events to a security monitoring system. External tracking requires setup: Claude Code uses installed hooks, while Cursor and Codex sessions are sent by a background job every 30 minutes.
