Vercel moves Data Cache to metered Runtime Cache billing

Vercel moves Data Cache to metered Runtime Cache billing Image: Primary
Vercel is moving Data Cache into Runtime Cache, introducing charges for reads and writes that were previously unbilled. Rates start at $0.40 per million read units and $4.00 per million write units and vary by region. Next.js caching will migrate without code changes. Teams created on or after October 30 use Runtime Cache by default. Existing Hobby teams migrate November 29; Pro teams will receive migration and billing dates. Early opt-in starts October 30 and immediately activates Runtime Cache pricing. Pro projects and environments receive separate storage allocations with 8x the space of the previous team-wide pool. Enterprise projects receive 10x their previous storage. Hobby teams receive monthly free usage allowances, while Pro usage draws on a $20 monthly infrastructure credit.
