DreamHost says it has completed precautionary password resets for affected email and FTP/SFTP users following an incident affecting several services. Its status updates described the panel File Manager going offline and some webmail users being signed out or encountering login errors.

Affected account owners can now set replacement passwords in the DreamHost control panel without waiting for notification emails. New passwords can take up to 15 minutes to take effect. Email and FTP users who do not own the account must contact its owner to obtain a new password.
