Town raises $108m at $1bn valuation for workplace AI assistants Image: Primary
Town announced a $108m Series B on Monday at a $1bn valuation, co-led by Forerunner Ventures and Menlo Ventures. Existing investors a16z and First Round Capital also participated. The startup connects individual AI assistants to workers' email, documents, calendars and business systems. Town says it is extending those assistants to teams, allowing them to exchange questions, hand off work and adopt shared workflows. The company says customers own the context their assistants build and can take it with them when they leave.
