Researchers find discounted AI model access sold on dark web marketplaces

Google Threat Intelligence Group found dark web marketplaces selling access to AI models from Anthropic, Google and OpenAI at discounts of up to 97%, the Financial Times reported. Security researchers warned of a surge in "LLM-jacking" attacks targeting companies' costly AI resources. The reported listings offer discounted model access while companies whose resources are targeted face the cost of that use.
