Circuit Mind raises $18.5 million Series A for AI circuit design

Circuit Mind raises $18.5 million Series A for AI circuit design Image: Primary
Circuit Mind said Wednesday that Norwest led an $18.5 million Series A, with a previously undisclosed seed round bringing the two rounds to $25 million. The London startup will use the money to expand its electronics design tools, hire staff and open a US headquarters. The company also launched AVE, which uses AI agents to check circuit schematics against component datasheets and customer design rules. It complements ACE, which generates schematics and parts lists from block diagrams. Circuit Mind says its platform combines AI agents with a physics-based decision engine; AVE reviews its findings before reporting them to engineers.
