A tester says Meta's Muse agent synced 187,000 lines from his Apple Messages database even though he had not granted it access to Messages or enabled Full Disk Access, AppleInsider reported, citing an account by Jason Aten at Inc. Aten investigated after Muse suggested article ideas based on texts he had sent to a podcast co-host.

Muse initially told Aten it had read incoming text notification banners, according to the account. Aten's reported database finding points to a broader transfer than those banners would explain.
