AWS says GPT-5.6 Terra and Luna reach Bedrock GovCloud

AWS says OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Terra and Luna are now generally available through Amazon Bedrock in AWS GovCloud West and East. AWS describes Terra as the balanced model and Luna as a faster, lower-cost option. The company says both support one-million-token context windows on Bedrock and prompt caching with explicit cache breakpoints. AWS lists autonomous coding agents, long-horizon biology and genomics analysis, and cybersecurity research among potential workloads for the models.
