Flock Safety offered voluntary buyouts to employees, WIRED reported, citing an internal email. The surveillance-camera company said it would grant the package to most applicants; workers have until Oct. 2 to apply and are expected to learn decisions Oct. 9. Departures for accepted applicants are expected by Oct. 29. The report said Flock has 1,500 employees and that packages can include healthcare coverage, cash and two years to exercise options. Flock did not respond to WIRED's requests for comment.
