Meta has been testing contractors who take over some calls placed through its Muse AI agent, Reuters reported, citing internal company posts. The trial enabled a human-calling option for half of Meta's employees, who could opt out. Muse had already launched a feature that calls businesses on a user's behalf and returns a transcript.

The posts said employees raised concerns that sensitive information could reach call-center contractors unexpectedly.
