Google Cloud says its Ultra Low Latency Solution and U4 machine family are now generally available for exchange operators and trading firms. Dedicated bare metal machines provide direct access to host resources, while hardware multicast distributes market data without passing through virtual switches.

Separate network adapters isolate trading feeds from management traffic. Google says its timing system achieves sub-10 nanosecond network-level timestamping. The accompanying U4S virtual machines scale from 2 to 288 vCPUs, with networking up to 100 Gbps. Access is limited to select private Google Cloud regions and requires contacting Google's team.
