Debezium Server 3.7 includes an open-source sink that sends database change events directly to Databricks tables without an intermediate Kafka cluster, Databricks says. Engineers at Databricks and NVIDIA contributed the integration, which lets database owners run capture inside their own networks and send changes outward.

NVIDIA contributed a mode that preserves the full change event and waits for durable acknowledgment before advancing source offsets. Delivery is at least once: repeated events carry an identifying key, but downstream processing must remove duplicates and reconstruct current table contents.
