Revolut disruption blocks app access, transfers and card payments across Europe

Revolut disruption blocks app access, transfers and card payments across Europe Image: Primary
Revolut customers across Europe lost access to its app, money transfers and card payments on Tuesday morning, The Next Web reported. Customers in the UK, France, Romania and Spain reported problems, while Irish broadcaster RTÉ reported disruption in Ireland. Revolut confirmed that multiple features were affected and said engineers were working to restore service. Downdetector reports had passed 2,000 by 9am, even as Revolut's status page showed all services as operational. Some customers said their cards were declined in shops and they could not reach support through chat. Revolut had not identified the cause or given a time for full service to return.
