Microsoft has reminded customers that Windows 11 23H2 Enterprise, Education and IoT Enterprise will receive their final security update in November 2026. Devices running those editions will then stop receiving monthly security protections.

Microsoft recommends moving eligible devices to a supported version. Windows 11 26H2 became generally available in September 2026 through an enablement package and is rolling out in phases to eligible devices. Availability depends on whether the update is ready for the individual device.
