Google Maps users can now place food orders through Square and Uber Eats using Ask Maps, its Gemini-powered conversational tool, ZDNET reported. Toast was the only officially named ordering partner when Google announced the capability in August.

Ask Maps accepts conversational requests to find restaurants serving the food a user wants and place an order. The expanded partner access adds ordering routes within Maps; the feature's earlier announcement covered Toast alone.
