Securitas Technology has acquired Sonitrol of El Paso, expanding its security service coverage in Texas, the company said. The transaction brings Sonitrol El Paso's local operations and client relationships into Securitas Technology's broader business.

The company said the acquisition also expands access for new and existing clients to Sonitrol's cloud offering. That service allows businesses to use Sonitrol's audio verification technology in a cloud environment with remote management capabilities.
