OpenAI is rolling out safety features for ChatGPT users under 18, according to a report. Teen accounts can turn off human voice responses, receive prompts to take breaks, and use scheduled Study Mode and quiet times. The company also says some eating-disorder-related requests will be flagged to linked parents after human review, with alerts targeted within an hour. Teen accounts will be the default for users who identify as teenagers and for others OpenAI identifies as under 18.
