Apple says iCloud items shared with anyone who has the link will become accessible to the company for harmful-content checks starting with version 27.3 of iOS, iPadOS, macOS and visionOS. Those items will no longer be end-to-end encrypted.

Apple reserves the right to remove or modify harmful content, disable accounts and involve law enforcement if necessary. Its support document does not define harmful content. The company plans to release iOS 27.3 in December; the policy concerns items shared through the "Anyone with the Link" permission.
