Snowflake announced general availability of automated Snowpipe setup with CoCo, allowing authorized users to configure continuous file loading through a natural-language conversation. Available in Snowsight, CoCo Desktop and CoCo CLI, the tool samples cloud-storage files, proposes a table structure, builds the pipeline and checks initial loads.

For Amazon S3, customers can approve temporary AWS permissions so Snowflake creates the storage role, trust policy and notifications. CoCo can also generate Terraform for pipelines on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, including Snowflake-managed Iceberg tables. It requests approval before changes by default. AWS temporary delegation is unavailable in GovCloud (US) and China regions.
