Apple announced a commitment of up to $100 million over the next three years with Pennsylvania titanium producer Perryman, alongside an expanded partnership with Qnity Electronics for iPhone camera components. The agreements are part of Apple's American Manufacturing Program.

Perryman supplies titanium for Apple products, including the iPhone Duo enclosure. At its Houston, Pennsylvania, site, it melts, forges and rolls titanium with a minimum of 80 percent recycled content for that device.

Qnity will produce advanced films in the United States for the iPhone 18 Pro's variable aperture camera system, which adjusts how much light enters the camera. Qnity joined the manufacturing program in March.
