Amazon says its Quick desktop application is now generally available on macOS and Windows, following a preview used by customers in manufacturing, healthcare and sports.

The company claims Quick runs on AWS infrastructure customers already control, keeps data in their environment, and provides audit trails through CloudWatch and CloudTrail, with HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance built in. A new mobile activity feed consolidates email, calendar, CRM and messaging into one prioritized view.
