NASA says the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has enough fuel for at least 22 years of potential science operations, more than twice its original planned minimum lifetime plus potential extension. Roman launched August 30 on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy. Its precise launch and first post-launch course correction preserved propellant, NASA said. The $4.3 billion observatory is traveling to its observation post and has not yet begun the described science program.
