Cloudflare releases EmDash 1.0 with portable plugin registry

Cloudflare released EmDash 1.0, a free, open-source system for managing websites, alongside a plugin registry. The production release adds editorial, media, localization, migration and deployment workflows to a project introduced in April. Plugin publishers keep signed package and release records in their own accounts, while EmDash provides a catalog where site owners can find and install them. Sandboxed plugins start without access to site content, users, secrets or the network; administrators can approve requested permissions. The registry supports free plugins now, with paid plugins described as a future goal.
