NASA awarded Omitron Inc. an indefinite-delivery contract valued at approximately $23.5 million over five years for orbital safety analysis services. The work includes screening potential close approaches for all NASA uncrewed spacecraft, supporting human spaceflight and providing orbital safety analysis to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Office of Space Commerce.

Services will be performed at Omitron's Beltsville, Maryland, location and facilities including NASA's Goddard and Johnson space centers, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren and Peterson Space Force Base. NASA described the services as critical to protecting its spaceflight assets and astronaut lives.
