Waymo's registered robotaxi fleet in Texas grew 49% over three weeks to 1,102 vehicles on September 24, according to state registrations and the Texas Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Tracker cited by Yahoo Finance. An influx of Waymo's new Ojai minivans drove the increase; they now make up about a third of its Texas fleet.

Waymo offers rides in 15 U.S. cities and averages 500,000 paid rides a week, but its vehicles remain concentrated geographically. About 80% of its roughly 4,000 robotaxis are in California and Texas, leaving about 800 across other states.
