Starlink terminals used by Ukrainian drone units began losing signals at speeds above 160 km/h early Wednesday, disrupting several frontline missions, Ukrainian military personnel and senior officials said. An official told the Financial Times that the restrictions arrived without warning and limited frontline logistics and strikes against Russian supply lines.

Defense ministry adviser Serhii Beskrestnov said long-range drone operations were also affected. He said the disruption impaired Ukraine's ability to defend against Russia's new jet-powered drones because Starlink is used on interceptors being developed to combat them.
