Groundcover acquires Wand to add automatic cloud resource controls
Image: Primary Groundcover is acquiring Israeli startup Wand, adding technology that automatically adjusts computing resources for software running on Kubernetes, CTech reports. Wand's founding team and 10 employees will join Groundcover in its first acquisition.
Groundcover already monitors activity across customers' cloud systems. Wand's software uses workload behavior to change resources assigned to individual workloads, the number of running copies, and the underlying cluster as demand shifts. The combined platform is intended to turn monitoring data into live infrastructure changes. The deal's terms were not disclosed.
