Privatemode says general AI model matches specialist on text decisions at higher cost

Privatemode says it adapted GLM-5.3-Flash to choose among preset answers in one model pass, with accuracy comparable to specialist model Jev across 28 text datasets. Its method reads the model's probabilities for numbered options instead of generating a full written answer, and can also classify images. The company reports that each system led on 10 text datasets, with results within one percentage point on the other eight. At listed prices, one million decisions cost about EUR 62 with GLM-5.3-Flash and about EUR 16 with Jev. Privatemode's deployment also requires two requests for 151-option questions because it can read probabilities for at most 128 options per response.
