# Venttup raises $3 million to expand precision manufacturing

Kochi-based Venttup has raised $3 million in a Pre Series A round led by Rainmatter by Zerodha and Unicorn India Ventures. The engineering and manufacturing startup will use the funds to expand its engineering team, precision manufacturing facilities and rapid prototyping infrastructure, according to its announcement.

Venttup is setting up a Bengaluru facility for precision machining, turning and sheet metal production for energy transition, defence, aerospace and space applications. The funding will also support AI adoption for business sourcing, supplier intelligence and operational efficiency as the company moves from engineering development toward scalable production.
