# Tesla outlines 21-site European megawatt truck-charging network

Tesla plans to install more than 100 megawatt-capable charging stalls at 21 sites across Germany, France, the UK, Sweden and Benelux, its Semi development head said at the IAA Transportation fair. The hardware is rated at 1.2 MW, while the European Semi draws a maximum of 800 kW. Tesla said the network will be open to trucks from other brands and use the MCS 3.2 connector. No installation timeline was announced; Tesla's Semi is due in Europe in 2027.
