Microsoft released out-of-band Windows updates on September 14 to address Remote Desktop Services failures introduced by September security updates, BleepingComputer reported. Affected systems experienced RDP connection and sign-in failures, unresponsive servers and problems with related administration tools. Updates cover Windows 10, several Windows 11 versions, and Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025. The releases also address a Hyper-V shared-folder issue and some multichannel USB audio problems, while other audio failures remain unresolved.
