Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Loops, an AI analytics platform that monitors business performance and explains changes in key metrics. Salesforce plans to bring the company's technology and specialized staff into Tableau after the transaction closes.

Loops can be triggered through Slack and email to monitor performance indicators, identify trends and anomalies, and surface their drivers. Salesforce expects the transaction to close in early November of its fiscal year 2027, subject to customary closing conditions.
