Helios Nordic Energy Finland Oy is submitting a zoning request to Tervola for a data center in the Koivu area of Finnish Lapland, according to the municipality. The proposed site would cover about 860 hectares, though project details and capacity have not been disclosed. Helios filed through affiliate Helios 1 Cranberry Oy. The company has also announced planned data-center projects in Lapinlahti and Iisalmi.
