Redis says its Iris service now offers four generally available capabilities for routing requests, reusing procedures, managing agent memory and controlling access to context sources. The update expands a service first launched in May 2026.

The memory capability organizes information from user actions and documents, with inspection, provenance and controls for forgetting information such as personal data. The context gateway connects agents to external tool servers and caches tool choices and results. Two additional capabilities remain in beta: Lens traces outcomes to their sources, while Agent Mesh supports communication and handoffs between agents.
