# Allium discloses breach and revokes API keys as services recover

Allium publicly confirmed a security breach on October 28 and began revoking API keys as it restored core blockchain data services, FinanceFeeds reported. The company detected unauthorized access on October 25 and engaged an external cybersecurity firm to investigate.

Its application and Explorer APIs resumed operations, but access to customer-uploaded datasets, Allium Assistant and its Model Context Protocol service remained unavailable in the October 28 recovery update. Data distribution to Snowflake, Databricks and Google BigQuery resumed, with completeness checks and missing-record repairs continuing. Allium has not established how attackers entered or disclosed whether sensitive information was stolen.
