# Is Claude facing an outage? Here's the latest update

Anthropic confirmed an outage affecting multiple Claude AI models on Tuesday and said it has implemented a fix with all services now fully operational.

The company said the outage began early Tuesday for users in the United States and affected models including Mythos 5, Fable 5, Opus 5 and Sonnet 5. Anthropic said it identified the cause of elevated error rates affecting Claude Opus 5 and solved them while continuing to monitor broader service recovery.

An Indian subpage of Downdetector recorded nearly 380 reports of Claude-related issues between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
