Evos announces $9M pre-seed round for industrial automation

Evos announces $9M pre-seed round for industrial automation Image: Primary
Evos announced $9M in pre-seed funding as it emerged from stealth, with Uncork Capital and Field Ventures co-leading the round. The company plans to use the money to grow its team and bring software operators to small and mid-sized businesses in physical industries. Evos says its operators learn from employees' decisions and perform work inside existing business systems. Customers can require human approval at every step or allow autonomous operation once an operator's decisions consistently match the team's. The company plans to formally launch its Workhorse platform in the coming weeks.
