Commerce AI startup Loops announced a $3.5 million seed round from a16z speedrun, NTT Docomo, Connecticut Innovations, Alumni Ventures and Monday Capital. The company says the funding will support product development, customer deployment capacity and international expansion.

Its platform combines product search, shopping assistance, catalog enrichment and virtual try-on for brands and retailers. Loops reports over 70 customers and pilots. Its published A101 comparison found roughly 83% higher observed purchase conversion in platform sessions, but the comparison was observational rather than randomized.
