YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. A team of scientists from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Cleveland Clinic and IBM have calculated nine molecular configurations of a promising material to produce fuel for fusion energy the first-known instance of such computations on quantum computers.
