Netflix advertising revenue on track to reach $3 billion in 2026

Netflix expects its advertising revenue to double this year, reaching $3 billion in 2026, according to the company's first-quarter earnings report. The streaming service reported 16 percent revenue growth in the first quarter compared to the same period last year, driven Netflix works with more than 4,000 advertising clients, a 70 percent year-over-year increase. The company plans to launch new ad products throughout 2026 to help advertisers measure campaign effectiveness using Netflix's first-party data. Starting in the second quarter, U.S. brands purchasing Netflix inventory through Amazon's demand-side platform will be able to apply Amazon's audience segments based on shopping and streaming behavior.
