Google's Gemini assistant began arriving on Pixel Watch and Galaxy Watch hardware this week as a floating overlay above the active watch face or running app instead of seizing the entire display.

The update is arriving via version 1.36 of the Google Gemini app on the Play Store and relies on a server-side component that Google is still activating gradually across accounts.
