Intuit says teams have used its EWOK Agent, an Amazon Bedrock-based assistant for disaster-recovery failovers, for the past eight months.

The company says the agent selects recovery workflows, checks readiness and policy gates, opens change records, and monitors execution while its existing EWOK system carries out infrastructure actions. Intuit says EWOK reduced recovery time from several hours to about 20 minutes for supported workloads. Engineers remain responsible for judgment calls and approvals, and the examples are an internal architecture pattern rather than a runnable deployment.
