South Korea announced a 5 trillion won semiconductor investment fund for domestic materials, components, equipment and fabless-design companies. The package also includes 5 trillion won in trade finance and a 1 trillion won supplier-cooperation program over 10 years for joint development and testing between major manufacturers and smaller suppliers.
